Warming Fact: Hungry Polar Bears Hunt Humans Twice In Churchill, Canada

Churchill, Canada is a small community of 900 people to which tourists travel to see Polar Bears.  If you go, please be careful.

The warming Arctic is shortening the season for Polar Bears to hunt seals on ice and making more bears hungry, desperate. And so, in Churchill, bears have attacked this fall humans twice.

The Guardian writes:

"The attack was also a reminder of a warming Arctic under climate change. The loss of sea ice is bringing hungry bears into closer contact with humans as they hunt for food, with potentially lethal consequences for both, scientists said."

You have been warned.
