Distributed solar (not including utility scale solar projects) in the USA is scorching hot and will soon account for more than 1% of all electric capacity in the USA.
Solar at homes and businesses or distributed solar will jump from about 5,000 megawatts to 13,000 megawatts in the next 30 months. Again, these numbers don't include utility scale solar.
