New US solar generation that was below 500 megawatts per year in 2008, reached a bit less than 1,000 megawatts in 2010, then 2,000 megawatts in 2011, 3,000 megawatts in 2012, and is projected to hit a rather incredible 4,000 megawatts plus next year.
