I guess this means that 110 companies are colluding on the shale gas Ponzi scheme. Clever of them to disguise this so brilliantly as a profitable endeavor. And getting Shell (East) and Chevron (Atlas) to near to top of the list was a stroke of genius. Because one might ask why those hugely profitable companies would want any part of a Ponzi scheme. :)))
ReplyDeleteThe Marcellus Shale is one of the biggest economic and environmental success stories of the last 30 years. Without the Marcellus there is no way they are closing all those coal plants. In fact without the Marcellus they would be building more coal plants, removing more mountaintops, adding more air pollution and polluting more streams. Those fighting shale gas are (perhaps unwittingly) fighting for the coal companies and all that comes with coal power.
